Magnificent 7 Rifle Team

Welcome!  We are the newest Smallbore Rifle Team here at the BR & R.  We currently (as of 11-18-08) have grown to ten members and we have all levels of shooters--from the very beginner to several National Champions.

If you are interested in Smallbore Target Shooting, come to the BR & R on the first, third or fifth Fridays of the month and you'll meet our team Captains, Stu Casselberry and Sue Fowler.  We enjoy the sport and encourage you to give it a try!

(Niagara Frontier Rifle League Results)

Well, The Results Are In!

The Magnificent Seven Rifle Team (the newest BR and R Rifle Team) is proud to announce that we won the Niagara Frontier Smallbore Rifle League Actual Score Trophy!  Under the direction of Stu Casselberry and Sue Fowler (Co-Captains), the M7 Actual Average was 14-4!  We were also undefeated in the Handicap Award (18-0).

Individual Trophies were also won by:

Sam Fowler- First Place League Junior
Sue Fowler- First Place League Woman
Scott Gibbs- First Place Sharpshooter and First Place Prone
Bill D'Ambrosio- First Place Marksman
and Stu Casselberry- First Place Handicap

In addition, 375 Club Awards were earned by Sam Fowler and Scott Gibbs.  365 Club Awards were also presented to Sam Fowler, Scott Gibbs, David Brummond, Bill D'Ambrosio and Justin Tracy.

Congratulations are in order to the other Magnificent Seven Team Members who worked hard this season to help bring home the Actual Team Trophy.  They are:  Danielle and Steve Detweiler, John Konacki, and John Scozzafava.  The new team really pulled together  and we are proud to have represented the Buffalo Revolver and Rifle Club so well!  Not only are we the newest team to the BR and R family, we are also the largest (11 shooters) and the most diversified.  We have three Juniors, Two Women, and Three Seniors.  Our team has everyone from the very beginner to three National Champions.  So, if you are interested in getting into Smallbore Shooting, you will fit in on our team!  Give Stu a call at 677-4423 or Sue a call at 667-1597 and we'll get you started!  We are looking forward to a great season again in the fall.  Hope to see you there!
